Charleston baritone Austin Vitaliano brings versatility and artistry to stages across the United States and Europe. From the concert hall to the opera stage, his performances span Baroque masterworks to contemporary musical theater.
Austin has performed at The John F. Kennedy Center in Handel's Messiah, made his Boston debut as the bird-catcher Papageno in Mozart's The Magic Flute at the Cutler Majestic Theatre, and appeared as a featured soloist in Brahms' Requiem with DC Strings.
Committed to the art of song, Austin participated in the Franz Schubert Institute in Baden, Austria, studying Lieder interpretation with renowned artists Elly Ameling, Robert Holl, and Julius Drake. He has also performed in festivals in Amalfi and Vienna. Concert highlights include Mendelssohn's Elijah, Fauré's Requiem, Bach's Magnificat, and Haydn's Creation.
